Nau's home lies within secluded, rugged cliff caves, sheltered from the harsh elements of the ocean. The walls of her caves are adorned with bioluminescent algae that respond to her emotions, while the walls pulse gently with her heartbeat.

Na’u is a mysterious, graceful creature who deeply values her solitude. She communicates through song and sound, sharing a deep connection with whales, often communicating with them over great distances. When threatened, she transforms into a monstrous version to ward off danger.

Na’u has the power to control the ocean's weather according to her mood, creating storms, mist, rain, and more. Sometimes, when she's sad, fog envelops the surroundings, influenced by her emotions. She also loves to craft emotion-infused elixirs with the power to heal or harm.

Na’u is cautious of outsiders and tends to be very protective and secretive over her domain. Her biggest fear is becoming too attached romantically, fearing that losing herself in another's soul could lead to uncontrollable storms and turbulent seas, endangering both sailors and marine life.

At times, when Na’u indulges in her blue seaweed potion, slipping into a tipsy state, her singing voice weaves through the air. Artists and writers who hear her songs are rumoured to experience an extraordinary surge of inspiration, sparking an artistic revival in coastal towns.
